92Definition of x-ray search for purposes of Public Safety (Public Protection Orders) Act 2014

  1. For the purposes of the Public Safety (Public Protection Orders) Act 2014, an x-ray search means the search of a fully or partially clothed person using an x-ray machine or other prescribed device that is designed to identify the presence of items that are internally concealed.

  2. For the purpose of facilitating an x-ray search under that Act, the person conducting the search may require the person being searched to—

  3. remove any item of clothing that needs to be removed in order to carry out the search:
    1. comply with any other procedure that needs to be undertaken to carry out the search.
