This part of the law does not change how the Corrections system monitors, collects, uses, or shares information in other ways, such as through sections 103A to 110C about withholding mail, sections 180 to 182E about sharing information, or sections 189A to 189D about detecting and intercepting radiocommunications within prison boundaries. You can still use security cameras and other technology in prisons. The rules about monitoring and sharing information still apply, even if you are using this part of the law.
