You are a lawyer or conveyancing practitioner. Schedule 1 applies to you if you are working alone in New Zealand. This includes lawyers who work by themselves and conveyancing practitioners who work by themselves. You are also covered by Schedule 1 if you are the only director of a law firm or conveyancing firm. Some rules do not apply if you are working under certain sections of the law, such as section 30(2) or section 37(2). These rules explain who Schedule 1 applies to. You need to know what type of practitioner you are to see if Schedule 1 applies to you.
