You can ask the Legal Complaints Review Officer to review a final decision made by a Standards Committee. The Officer can look at all parts of the decision or just some of them. This includes looking at how the Standards Committee investigated your complaint. You can also ask the Officer to review how the Standards Committee looked into your complaint. This includes any investigation the Committee did themselves or got someone else to do for them. The Officer can check if the investigation was done properly. The Legal Complaints Review Officer can check the work of the Standards Committee to make sure it was done correctly. This helps ensure that your complaint was handled fairly. The Officer's review can give you a clearer understanding of what happened with your complaint.
