When this part of the law starts, you cannot make a new complaint under section 98(1) of the Law Practitioners Act 1982. 350Prohibition on complaints and investigations under Law Practitioners Act 1982

  1. After the commencement of this section,—

  2. no complaint may be made under section 98(1) of the Law Practitioners Act 1982; and
    1. no complaint (other than a complaint received before the commencement of this section) may be referred, under section 98(2) of the Law Practitioners Act 1982, to a District Law Society; and
      1. no investigation into any matter may be commenced under section 99 of the Law Practitioners Act 1982.
