The Disciplinary Tribunal can make rules about how it handles applications and proceedings. You can think of these rules as guidelines for how the tribunal works. The tribunal's rules must follow the Lawyers and Conveyancers Act 2006 and are considered secondary legislation, which has publication requirements outlined in Part 3 of the Legislation Act 2019. The tribunal makes these rules to help it make decisions and run smoothly. These rules are important for the tribunal to work properly. You can find more information about secondary legislation and its requirements in the Legislation Act 2019.
