You know that some laws are being changed. If you are part of a District Law Society, it will keep running as it is now. This will happen for six months after the new law starts. After six months, the District Law Society will be dissolved, which means it will no longer exist, as stated in the Law Practitioners Act 1982. You should look at what the new law says about the Lawyers and Conveyancers Act 2006. The old law is being repealed, which means it is being cancelled. This change affects District Law Societies that were set up under the old law.
