The New Zealand Law Society has some important jobs. You can think of these jobs as helping to control and regulate lawyers in New Zealand. The Society must also make sure lawyers follow the rules and do their jobs properly. The Society's jobs include monitoring and enforcing the rules that lawyers must follow. You can find these rules in the Lawyers and Conveyancers Act and other related laws. The Society also has to help make sure conveyancers follow the rules for a certain period of time, as stated in an order made under section 390. The Society also helps to reform the law to uphold the rule of law and help the justice system in New Zealand. This means they help to make sure the law is fair and works well for everyone. They do this to help people like you understand and follow the law.
