Child Support Act 1991

Assessment of child support and domestic maintenance - Provisions relating to making of assessments

84: Validity of assessments

You could also call this:

"Assessments stay valid even if some rules weren't followed, except when you object properly"

The law says that an assessment remains valid even if some rules in the Child Support Act were not followed. This means that if someone made a mistake when creating the assessment, it can still be used. However, there is one exception to this rule. If you object to the assessment using sections 91 to 95 of the Act, you can challenge its validity based on rules not being followed. In all other cases, you can't say an assessment is invalid just because some rules weren't followed perfectly.
