Child Support Act 1991

Transitional and savings provisions - Miscellaneous provisions

272: Transitional date for calculating living allowance

You could also call this:

“Special date used to work out money for living costs in 1992-1993”

When figuring out how much living allowance someone can get for the child support year that ends on 31 March 1993, you need to think about a special date. Usually, you would look at 1 January of the year before. But for this specific time, you should use 1 January 1992 instead. This helps make sure the right amount is calculated for that particular year.
