134AStatus of penalties under section 134

  1. A penalty payable under section 134

  2. is a debt due to the Crown; and
    1. must for all purposes (except the purposes of Part 9) be treated as, and is accordingly recoverable as if it were, of the same nature as the amount in respect of which it was imposed.
