Child Support Act 1991

Automatic deductions - Automatic deductions

160: Periodic deductions from money other than source deduction payments

You could also call this:

“Regular money deductions from other types of income”

If someone needs to make regular deductions from money that isn’t a source deduction payment, they have to follow specific rules. You might be asked to take out a certain amount of money daily, weekly, every two weeks, or monthly. The amount you need to deduct will be exactly what you’ve been told to take out. This applies to money that isn’t from things like wages or salaries.
