Child Support Act 1991

Enforcement provisions - Miscellaneous provisions

204: Crown Proceedings Act 1950 not affected

You could also call this:

“The government can still use other laws to get money for child support”

This law says that the Child Support Act doesn’t change how the Crown Proceedings Act 1950 works. The Crown Proceedings Act is another important law. Both laws give the government rights and ways to solve problems. These rights and solutions can be used separately or together. This means the government can still get back money for financial support using either law.
