You could also call this:

“Rules for putting changes to the Child Support Act into action”

This part of the law explains how changes to the Child Support Act 1991 are put into practice. It tells you that there are special rules for how these changes are applied, when they start, and what happens to existing arrangements.

These rules are listed in Schedule 1 of the Act. Schedule 1 is divided into different parts, each dealing with changes made by different laws. For example, Part 1 covers changes that started on 1 April 2015, while Part 2 covers changes that began on 1 April 2016.

The law provides a table that shows you which part of Schedule 1 contains the rules for each set of changes. This includes changes made by various Acts, such as the Child Support Amendment Act 2013 and the Taxation Acts from different years.

If you want to know how a specific change to the Child Support Act affects you, you can look at the relevant part of Schedule 1 to find out more details.
