Child Support Act 1991

Jurisdiction of courts in relation to child support and domestic maintenance - Miscellaneous provisions

127: Orders by consent

You could also call this:

"The court can make decisions when everyone agrees"

When you're involved in a case under this law, the Family Court or the District Court can make an order if everyone agrees to it. This means that if you and all the other people in the case say it's okay, the court can decide something without needing to have a big argument about it. It's like when you and your friends all agree on what game to play - the court can make a decision when everyone involved says "yes, that's fine with me."
