Child Support Act 1991

Jurisdiction of courts in relation to child support and domestic maintenance - Miscellaneous provisions

124: Publication of reports of proceedings

You could also call this:

"Rules for sharing information about child support cases in court"

When someone writes about what happens in court for child support cases, there are rules about how they can do this. These rules come from a law called the Family Court Act 1980. The rules say what you can and can't share about these court cases.

These rules apply when someone wants to write about child support cases in the Family Court. They also apply if the case is in any other court. If it's in another court, you just need to think of that court instead of the Family Court when you read the rules.

The specific rules are in parts of the law called Sections 11B to 11D. These sections tell you what you're allowed to say when you write about these court cases. They help make sure that private information about families is protected.
