You must not do any gasfitting or help with gasfitting unless you are allowed to. You can do gasfitting or help with it if you have a current practising licence, a provisional licence, or an employer licence. You are allowed to do gasfitting or help with it if you follow the rules in sections 12 to 27. You do not break the rules if you do gasfitting or help with it according to the rules. The rules about who can do gasfitting also depend on sections 11 to 27. You have to make sure you are allowed to do gasfitting or help with it. If you are not sure, you should check the rules. The rules are in place to ensure gasfitting is done safely and correctly.
