23Exemption for underground pipes conveying gas to premises

  1. A person may fix or unfix any pipe conveying, or intended to convey, gas if—

  2. that pipe is installed underground from the outlet connection of a gas meter to any premises; and
    1. the person has obtained the prior approval of any gas operator (within the meaning of the Gas Act 1992) supplying that gas to those premises.
