You can apply to renew your practising licence. You must not apply earlier than 3 months before your licence expires. You must send your application to the Registrar or the Electrical Workers Registration Board if they are considering it under section 61. You must use the form the Board requires. 50Applications for renewal of practising licence

  1. An application for the renewal of a practising licence under this subpart—

  2. must not be made earlier than 3 months before the licence’s date of expiry; and
    1. must be sent or delivered to either—
      1. the Registrar; or
        1. the Electrical Workers Registration Board if the application is to be considered by that Board under section 61; and
        2. must be in the form required by the Board; and
          1. must contain, or be accompanied by, the information and documentation required by the Board; and
            1. must be accompanied by the prescribed fee (if any).
              1. The Registrar must refer any application received by the Registrar under this section to the Board for consideration under section 51.

              2. If an application for the renewal of a practising licence is made before the licence’s date of expiry but the licence has not been renewed before that date, the licence continues in force until the application is determined.
