The Board has to talk to people before making a notice about motor vehicle inspections. You need to know that the Board must talk to people who can represent certification authorities and motor vehicle inspectors. The Board also has to talk to organisations that will be affected by the notice. The Board has to discuss its proposal with people who can represent the views of certification authorities and motor vehicle inspectors. You will see that the Board also talks to organisations that will be substantially affected by the proposal. The Board does this before making a notice under section 87F. If the Board does not follow this process, it does not affect the validity of any notice made under section 87F. The Board's job is to make sure people are heard before making a decision.
