If a local authority's district changes, you need to know what happens to the rules. When a district is included in another district, some rules might stop applying. This can happen if the new district already has those rules in place. If a district is included in another, the rules from the old district might still apply. This can happen if an Order in Council under section 25A of the Local Government Act 2002 says so. The rules will apply to the new district on the date the reorganisation implementation scheme starts. You should look at the rules for the new district to see what applies. The rules from section 15(1) or 16(1) might apply to the new district. This can happen when a district is included in another district with these rules in place.
