You can get a fine under section 87Q(1) and it is like a debt that you have to pay to the Board. You can pay this fine in a court that has the power to deal with it. An order made under section 87Q(1) starts the day after it is made. If your appointment as a self-containment certification authority is suspended under section 87Q(1)(b), you cannot do certain things. You cannot appoint a motor vehicle inspector under section 87T, arrange for a motor vehicle inspection under section 87U(3), or issue a certificate of self-containment under section 87U(4). When the suspension period ends, your appointment as a self-containment certification authority starts again. But this does not happen if there is another reason to suspend or stop your appointment. If a self-containment certification authority is suspended under section 87Q(1)(b), a motor vehicle inspector they appointed can still be appointed by another self-containment certification authority under section 87T(1) and can do a motor vehicle inspection under section 87U(3).
