You can appeal to the District Court if you are unhappy with certain decisions. These decisions include the Board declining to register you or issue a licence. You can also appeal if the Board or Registrar suspends or cancels your registration or licence. You can appeal against decisions about limited certificates, provisional licences, and terms or conditions of your registration or licence. The Board or Registrar makes these decisions under certain sections of the Act, such as section 14, sections 53 to 56, 66, 79, 83, and 178. Some decisions, like those under sections 28 to 35, cannot be appealed. If the Electrical Workers Registration Board makes a decision under Part 2, it is treated as a decision of the Board. This means you can appeal against it in the same way as other Board decisions.
