You can stop being a member of the Board at any time by telling the Minister. You will also stop being a member if you die or are adjudged bankrupt. The Minister can remove you from the Board if you cannot do your job, neglect your duties, or behave badly. You can also be removed by the Minister with the Board's agreement if your work on the Board is not good enough. If you stop being a member for any reason, you will not get any money or benefits. The Board can still make decisions even if there is a vacancy. The rules about stopping being a member of the Board are similar to rules in the past, such as s 6B from 1976.
