83Restricting public access to information and documents on register

  1. Despite section 82, the Registrar—

  2. may restrict public access to all or any of the information referred to in section 74(1)(b), (2)(b), or (2)(e)(i) in relation to a particular person if that person requires the Registrar to restrict public access to that information; and
    1. must restrict public access to any information or documentation referred to in section 74(1)(c)(viii), (2)(c)(vi), (3), or (4) or section 75 if—
      1. required to do so by regulations; or
        1. directed to do so by the Board.
        2. For the purposes of subsection (1)(b), the Board may direct the Registrar to restrict public access to any information or documents referred to in that paragraph if, in the opinion of the Board, it is not necessary, or it is not desirable, for the information or documents to be publicly available.
