You can do sanitary plumbing, gasfitting, or drainlaying work if you are a trainee. You must be doing the work to get a registration as a registered person. You can do this work if you have a limited certificate from the Board, which you can get under section 14. You are a trainee if you are learning to do this work to get registered. This includes being an apprentice in the gasfitting, plumbing, or drainlaying trade. You can work under supervision, as stated in sections 19, 21, or 25. This rule does not stop you from doing work under supervision. You can still do work under supervision, as long as you follow the rules. You must follow the rules to do this work safely and correctly.
