  1. A self-containment certification authority may revoke a current certificate of self-containment that it has previously issued if the authority is satisfied of either or both of the following:

  2. the motor vehicle that holds the certificate of self-containment does not meet the requirements for self-containment prescribed by regulations:
    1. the authority issued the certificate on the basis of incorrect or incomplete information.
      1. The self-containment certification authority must notify in writing the owner of the motor vehicle of the authority’s decision to revoke a certificate of self-containment.
