95: Sixth step: decision on plan

When you are looking at a regional pathway management plan, the council has to make a decision on the plan. The council must write a report on the plan when they are satisfied with the information in section 94. You will find the council's decision on the plan in this report.

The council has to explain why they accepted or rejected submissions from people in the report. They also have to give a copy of the report to everyone who made a submission.

The council must tell the public about their decision on the plan and where you can read the plan.

95Sixth step: decision on plan

  1. When the council is satisfied of the matters in section 94, the council must prepare a written report on the plan.

  2. If the council has received submissions on the proposal, the council must—

  3. set out in the report the council's reasons for accepting or rejecting the submissions; and
    1. give a copy of the report to every person who made a submission.
      1. The report must give the council's decision on the plan.

      2. The council must give public notice—

      3. stating the council's decision on the plan; and
        1. stating where the plan resulting from the council's decision can be read.
