124Power to destroy organism on non-payment of fees

  1. An inspector may destroy or otherwise dispose of an organism that is being lawfully held by the Crown if any treatment fees, quarantine isolation fees, or containment fees due in respect of that organism have not been paid within 20 working days of those fees being demanded from the owner or person who was in apparent control of that organism prior to it passing into the control of the Crown.
