100XPurpose of Part 5A

  1. The purpose of this Part is to provide a framework that enables the government and industry to work together in partnership to achieve the best possible outcomes from readiness or response activities by—

  2. making joint decisions on the activities; and
    1. jointly funding the costs of the activities in shares that take into account the public benefits and industry benefits that the activities deliver.
