Biosecurity Act 1993

Savings and transitional provisions

177: Transition of notices under section 13A of Animals Act 1967

You could also call this:

"Old animal notices are still valid even if the law changed"

If you had a notice under section 13A of the Animals Act 1967 before 30 September 1993, it will still be in force. You can think of a notice like a formal warning or instruction. The notice will last for the time it said it would, and people can still enforce it, even though section 13A of the Animals Act 1967 is no longer a law. This means the notice has the same power as it did before the law changed.
