Biosecurity Act 1993

Administrative provisions - Incorporation by reference

142Q: Effect of expiry of material incorporated

You could also call this:

"What happens to old rules in biosecurity documents when they expire or are cancelled."

If material is included in a biosecurity document and that material expires or is revoked, it stops being part of the document. This only happens if the people in charge publish a notice in the Gazette. You need to know that the notice must say the material is no longer part of the document and when that happens. If the biosecurity document clearly says this rule does not apply, then the material does not stop being part of the document, even if it expires or is revoked.
