"What special words mean in sections 142M to 142S of the Biosecurity Act"

When you read sections 142M to 142S, you need to know what some words mean. A biosecurity document can be regulations, Orders in Council made under this Act, standards issued under this Act, notices issued under this Act, or instruments made under this Act. Incorporated means incorporated by reference.

You also need to know what an inspection site is. It can be the head office of the responsible body or any other place they decide. The word material usually means the original material, part of it, or the original material with some changes.

The original material is what was first published. The responsible body is the person in charge, like the Director-General or the chief executive, depending on who is responsible for the biosecurity document. You can find more information about these terms in sections 142M to 142S and section 142O.
