162: Time for filing charging document for certain offences

162Time for filing charging document for certain offences

  1. This section applies to—

  2. an offence against any of sections 154M, 154N(8) to (21), and 154O(19) to (21):
    1. an offence against any regulations made under this Act.
      1. The limitation period for the offence ends on the date that is 2 years after the date on which the offence was committed.

      2. Section 25 of the Criminal Procedure Act 2011 does not apply to the offence.
