Importation of risk goods - Craft risk management standards

24J: Compliance

You could also call this:

"Following the rules to keep people and the environment safe"

If you are in charge of a craft that has a craft risk management standard, you must take all reasonable steps to comply with the standard. You must also do what an inspector asks if they require it. This includes giving the inspector a declaration that explains the steps you took to comply with the standard. You need to give the inspector this declaration in an approved way, which means following the rules for how it should be provided.
