Biosecurity Act 1993

Administrative provisions - Incorporation by reference

142P: Proof of material incorporated

You could also call this:

"Proving added information is correct and part of a biosecurity document"

When material is included in a biosecurity document, you need to have a copy of it. This copy must be checked by the people in charge to make sure it is correct. They also need to keep this copy. If someone shows a certified copy of the material in a court case, it is enough proof that the material is part of the biosecurity document, unless someone can show that it is not true. The people in charge must certify and keep the copy, and this helps prove the material is included in the document, as seen in the changes made by the Biosecurity Law Reform Act 2012.
