Biosecurity Act 1993

Enforcement, offences, and penalties - Compliance orders

154G: Effect of appeal

You could also call this:

"What happens when you appeal a compliance order under the Biosecurity Act"

If you appeal a compliance order under section 154E or 154F, it affects what happens next. The person who appointed the inspector or authorised person cannot cancel the order while you are appealing or while you still have time to appeal. You must still follow the order if you need to while you are appealing.

When you appeal, you have to do what the order says if that is what happens when you use your appeal rights. This is what happens when you appeal a compliance order under section 154E or 154F. You have to comply with the order if that is required when you appeal.
