Risk management programmes - References to verifying agency

35: References to verifying agency

You could also call this:

"What 'verifying agency' means in this law"

When you see a reference to a verifying agency in this Part of the law, it is talking about a risk management programme. If a recognised person does the verification work for that programme, but they are not employed by a recognised agency, you must treat the reference as if it were talking about a verifier. This means you replace the words "verifying agency" with "verifier" in your mind when you read about it.
