Compliance orders
153Compliance with compliance order
Where a compliance order is served on the person against whom it is directed, the person must—
- comply with the order; and
- unless the order directs otherwise, pay all the costs and expenses of complying with the order.
If the person fails to comply with the order, the Director-General may comply with the order on behalf of the person, and, for this purpose, may—
- exercise, or direct the exercise of, any of the powers of an animal product officer under this Act; and
- recover the costs and expenses of complying with the order as a debt due from the person.
