112X: Means of consultation

You could also call this:

"How the Director-General talks to you about important decisions and listens to your thoughts."

When the Director-General needs to talk to you or a group of people about something, they must tell you what it's about. They can do this by giving you a written notice or by notifying a group of people in a way set out in section 112W.

The Director-General must give you a fair chance to write down your thoughts about the matter. They might also give you a chance to talk to them in person about it, if they say so in the notice.

The Director-General has to think about what you and others say about the matter when they make a decision.
