"What words in the Animal Products Act mean, and who has to follow the law."

In this part of the law, a regulated person is someone who does certain things with animals or animal products. You are a regulated person if you run an animal product business, export animals or animal products, or have a registered risk management programme. You can also be a regulated person if you are in charge of animals, animal products, or animal material for a business, or if you have obligations under this law and are specified by the regulations, which can be found through the Food Safety Law Reform Act 2018. You might be a regulated person if you work with animals in other ways, like running a game estate or providing homekill or recreational catch services. The law applies to you if you have any obligations under the Animal Products Act, and you are specified by the regulations.
