Animal Products Act 1999

Offences, penalties, and proceedings - Offences

139: Proof of compliance with Act

You could also call this:

"Proving you followed the animal product rules when selling animal things."

If you are accused of breaking a rule in the Animal Products Act 1999 about selling animal material or products, you have to prove that you followed the rules. You must show that where the material or product came from and how it was processed before being sold was done correctly according to the Act. You are responsible for proving this if the sale of the material or product is part of the accusation against you.
