The public register is a list that you can look at to find information about recognised agencies, recognised persons, and recognised classes. It must contain the full name and contact address of each agency or person, as well as any suspension of their recognition. The register also includes information about recognised classes, such as a definition of the class and a list of its members or where to find this information.

You can find details about each recognised agency, person, and class, including what they are allowed to do and for how long they are recognised. If a recognised agency or person has their recognition suspended, the register will show the date and time the suspension starts, how long it lasts, and what activities it affects. The register will also show if a member of a recognised class has had their recognition suspended, withdrawn, or surrendered, and when this happens.

If you look at the register, you might see that some information is cross-referenced, which means it is recorded in one place and referred to in another. This can happen if a person is both a recognised agency and a recognised person, and the same information needs to be shown in both parts of the register. The register must also include any other details that the regulations or a supplementary notice require, and it may refer to other parts of the law, such as section 105(5).
