Animal Products Act 1999

General obligations - Verification

77E: Obligation of persons subject to verification requirements

You could also call this:

"You must help verifiers do their job by giving them access and information when checking animal products."

If you have to follow verification requirements under the Animal Products Act 1999, you must give the verifier the access they need to do their job. You have to let them see the places, things, and information they need to verify. You also have to give them any reasonable help they ask for to do the verification. You must also follow any other requirements for the verification that are set out in regulations made under section 77F, or in your risk management programme if you have one, or in a regulated control scheme you are part of, or in a notice made under section 167(1). You can find more information about these regulations and notices by looking at section 77F or section 167(1).
