Animal Products Act 1999

Recognised agencies, persons, and classes of persons - Recognition process

112B: Duration of recognition

You could also call this:

"How long your recognition lasts"

When you get recognition, it lasts for a certain time. This time is stated in a notice of recognition, which says when it starts and ends, as outlined in section 112(2)(d). If no time is stated, it lasts forever.

However, there are some exceptions. Your recognition can end if it is withdrawn under section 112N or 112O, or if you surrender it under section 112Q. It also does not apply while it is suspended under section 112J or 112K.
