65EDirector-General to maintain list of game estates
The Director-General must keep and maintain a list of all game estates to which section 65D applies.
The purpose of the list is—
- to enable members of the public to know—
- what places are listed game estates for the purposes of this Act; and
- who is recognised by law as authorised to operate a listed game estate for the purposes of this Act; and
- what places are listed game estates for the purposes of this Act; and
- to facilitate the compliance, audit, and other functions of the Ministry as the agency with regulatory functions under this Act.
The Director-General must—
- keep the list open for public inspection, without fee, during ordinary office hours at the head office of the Ministry and at such other places as the Director-General determines; and
- supply to any person copies of all or part of the list on request and payment of a reasonable charge for the production of the copy.
The list may be kept in such manner as the Director-General thinks fit.
