Animal Products Act 1999

Recognised agencies, persons, and classes of persons - Public register of recognised agencies, recognised persons, and recognised classes

112S: Public register of recognised agencies, recognised persons, and recognised classes to be kept

You could also call this:

"A public list of approved groups and people who work with animal products"

The Director-General has to keep a public register of recognised agencies, recognised persons, and recognised classes. You can think of this register like a list that shows who is allowed to do certain jobs related to animal products. The Director-General can choose how to keep this register, such as using a computer or other electronic device, as long as people can easily access the information.

The public register is used for a few main purposes. It helps you and others know who is recognised to do certain tasks under the Animal Products Act. It also helps the Ministry with its work, such as checking that people are following the rules and doing other administrative tasks.

The register can be accessed electronically, which means you can look at it from a distance using a computer or other device. This makes it easier for people to find the information they need. The Director-General is in charge of making sure the register is available and up-to-date, and you can access it to find out more about recognised agencies, persons, and classes.
