Electricity Act 1992

General - Functions and powers of WorkSafe and Secretary

7: Report to be compiled on inspection

You could also call this:

“Inspector writes report and gives copies to everyone who needs it”

When someone inspects a place under section 6, they need to write a report about what they found. After they finish the report, they have to give copies to different people. They’ll give one copy to the person they think is in charge of the place they inspected. If the owner or the person living there isn’t the same as the person in charge, they’ll get a copy too. Also, if there’s someone else who’s responsible for the electrical stuff they looked at, and this person isn’t the same as the others, they’ll get a copy as well. This way, everyone who needs to know about the inspection gets the information.
