“Rules for managing electricity were removed from this law”
This section of the law, called ‘Electricity governance regulations’, used to be part of the Electricity Act 1992. However, it’s no longer in effect. The government removed this section on 1 November 2010. They did this through a new law called the Electricity Industry Act 2010. This means that these specific rules about managing electricity no longer apply.
