Electricity Act 1992

Administration - General provisions

156A: Power to amend or revoke

You could also call this:

“The Board can change or cancel their decisions”

You can think of the Board as a group of people who make important decisions. When the Board makes a decision, they might write it down in a document. This section of the law is about what the Board can do with these documents.

The Board can change or cancel any document they create. If they want to, they can also replace an old document with a new one. This applies to all sorts of documents like orders, notices, and special permissions.

Sometimes, when the Board makes a decision, they might add some rules or conditions. The law says they can change these rules too. They can remove old rules or add new ones.

There’s another law called the Legislation Act 2019. This section doesn’t change what that law says about similar things. You can find more information about this in section 48 of that Act.
